Insurance
The first hour after damage matters. Here is exactly what to do, and what not to do, before we arrive.
Overview
When something floods, burns, or backs up, a few smart moves in the first hour limit the damage and protect your claim. The goal is simple: stay safe, stop the source if you can, document, and call. Here is the order that keeps a bad day from getting worse.
How We Help
We photograph the loss, log daily moisture readings, write the estimate in Xactimate, and communicate with your adjuster directly, from the first inspection through final payment.
Questions
Safety. If water is near outlets or the panel, stay clear and shut off power to that area if you can reach it safely. Everything else comes after that.
Document first with photos, then move only small valuables to a dry spot. Do not throw anything out yet, and do not wade through water that may be contaminated.
As soon as it is safe. The faster we start, the less has to be torn out and rebuilt, and the cleaner your documentation will be.
Water, fire, mold, or sewage, one call starts the recovery. We show up fast and we do not leave until it is done right.
