It depends on the type and extent of the damage. Sewage and heavy mold can pose health risks, so we contain the affected areas and tell you honestly what is safe and what is not. When in doubt, keep people and pets out of the work zone until it is clean.

Often. Water travels behind walls and under floors where you cannot see it. We use moisture meters and thermal imaging to find every wet pocket.
Frequently, if we start drying quickly. We dry the structure properly rather than tearing out everything by default.
It can be. Spores in the air can trigger coughing, congestion, and headaches, and worse for sensitive people. If you have health concerns, see a doctor; this is general information.
We do not recommend it. Bleach treats the surface but misses the roots inside the wall, and disturbing mold spreads spores. Proper mold remediation contains the area and fixes the moisture source.

If it is safe, stop the source and shut off power to the affected area, then take a few photos. Do not throw anything out yet; we document the loss first.
Every job is different. Drying usually takes a few days, and the rebuild depends on how much was damaged. After we assess your property, we give you a clear timeline up front so you always know what to expect.
